Thanks for taking your precious time (Oops, I reminded you of something really important and you need to leave right away now? Well I do hope you come back someday!) to read this introductory post.

In the following few lines I will try to describe what I want to do with this blog, why you should read and bookmark it, and what the general topics will be. By all means, if you have any questions or remarks, I would love to hear them. So, leave your message, don’t be afraid to use (back)links.

My new appartment

If you would read my biography (which at the moment is not yet written), you would see that i am a Dutch guy (that is, I was raised and have been living most my life in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, more commonly known as Holland). I have just moved into my new appartment in Houten, which is situated right in the centre of Holland, and has a population of about 50,000.

For that reason, you will probably find some words and pictures dedicated to my new place and home deco in general. Also, in the same line I am developing an interest in the setup of budget Home-Entertainment systems, and might dedicate a few words to that too.

In my free time I love to read SciFi, specifically older books from before the 1970’s. Thus, some of the things featured in these books might also arise here. I will also be making a short list of books I’d recommend to everyone that’s interested in SciFi.
Another thing I like to read about is world-history. This is another means of getting some fresh ideas into ones head. Let me put it this way; There is more that has been forgotten then can ever be remembered!
